Once again, students at Diss High School have achieved some outstanding A level results; the pass rate was over 99%, with 85% of all grades being A* to C.

Notable successes include Caity Adkins who gained 3A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and is going to read Medicine at Nottingham University; Natty Strange achieved 2A* grades in Chemistry and Mathematics, an A in Biology, a B in Further Maths and is going to read Medicine at Kings College, Cambridge University; Will Johnson gained 2 A* grades, one A grade and an A in his Extended Project and is reading Modern History and Politics at Southampton University; Joseph Davy  achieved 2A* grades, 2 A grades and an A* in his Extended Project and will study Economics at LSE.

Other noteworthy results include Aimee Buck with A*AAB, Charlie Dunning with A*A*BB, Lauren Dennis with A*AB and an A in the Extended Project , Ed Darrall with AAA plus a B in the Extended Project, Anna Brinkley with A*AB, and Leona Cremnitz with AAA.

Headteacher, Dr Jan Hunt said, “Our Sixth Form students have worked incredibly hard. A levels were more rigorous this year and students and staff are to be congratulated on a fabulous set of results! Nearly all of our students have already had their university places confirmed.”
