Entry Criteria: Grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths

Are you interested in working with children, supporting learning, or making a positive difference in young people's lives? The new Level 3 V Level in Education offers an exciting and flexible pathway for students who want to explore the world of education whilst keeping their future
options open. Equivalent in size to one A Level, it can be studied alongside other V Levels and A Levels, allowing you to build a programme that suits your interests and ambitions. 

You can develop valuable knowledge and skills related to education and learning whilst gaining an insight into careers working with children and young people. You will have the opportunity to combine vocational  learning with academic study. In turn you could progress to university, apprenticeships, further training, or employment enabling you to learn through engaging, applied activities linked to real-life educational settings. 

You will explore a range of topics, including: 

• Child development and learning
• Inclusive education and SEND Supporting wellbeing and safeguarding
• The role of schools and educational professionals
• Communication and professional skills 
• Educational theories and their application in practice
