Year 7 Open Evening

5.30pm – 8.00pm

Choosing a secondary school is one of the most important decisions a family will make. We warmly invite prospective students and their families to visit Diss High School and experience our vibrant, inclusive community for themselves.

Throughout the evening you will be able to:

  • Meet our students and staff
  • Explore our facilities
  • Visit curriculum areas and take part in activities
  • Learn about our broad curriculum and enrichment opportunities
  • Hear from the Headteacher about our vision for the school
  • Discover how we support every child to achieve their potential

No booking required.

Sixth Form Open Evening

Tuesday 22 September 2026
5.30pm – 8.00pm

Whether you currently attend Diss High School or another local school, we invite you to discover the opportunities available in our thriving Sixth Form.

During the evening you will be able to:

  • Meet Sixth Form students and staff
  • Explore our subject offer
  • Speak directly with teachers about courses and future pathways
  • Learn about enrichment, leadership and university opportunities
  • Find out how our Sixth Form prepares students for successful futures

No booking required.

8:00am. Results will be emailed to students using their @disshigh accounts.

8:00am – 12:00pm. Results will be available to collect in person from the Hall. Any results not collected will be placed in an envelope and kept in reception for you to collect in September.

If you are not available to collect your results, you can designate somebody to collect results on your behalf. To do this, please email exams@disshigh.co.uk from your disshigh email before Friday 17 July giving your consent for the named person to collect on the day. We can only hand over results to students or pre-arranged named people. 

Support. There will be members of the Sixth Form team available, from 8 – 12pm to help you through the clearing process or give any alternative advice.

Certificates. A Level certificates will be available to collect from the school until January. More information regarding specific dates will be given on results day.
